Waiting for Forever

As the clouds touch the sky,
He blows wind through my mind,
 Leafs brush the cold floor,
Where his precious moments i find,
The touch is combined with silk,
tangled up in his hearts embrace,
He holds my hand while the floor shakes,
Never letting go of the image of my face,
He looks down as I stare,
and my heart grabs onto the mix,
 A drink is like poision,
but his soul and sweet silence is my fix,
 Flowers fall to the ground,
not grown from below but anchored above,
a sparkle twist and shimmery glow,
 of his gracious beautiful dove,
I kiss the raindrops that fall down,
not afraid of a sudden sound,
escaping reality two steps from you,
a quick turn and there I am found,
adore him for he is ever casting,
always by your side far but near,
 Craddling you through the storm,
 whispering have no fear,
 the calm is of drought,
battling what love is in its glory,
No crawling towards a door for escape,
for this is the grand story,
of how he met the world,
 metaphorically in his heart,
the smile and honesty of love,
is the final and couragous start.

Many of us walk around saying, "When am I going to find the one?"(And Im truly hoping that if your saying this your single, because if your married or taken, you may want to pray to God about that real hard.Thats awhole 'nother topic and blog to write about)..I will admitt Ive said those words time and time again.Human nature right??Why is it when we sound stupid do we blame it on being human and put it aside and never face the real emotional situation we face.I think its the same when we pray and don't tell God everything,we don't truly open up to him about how we are feeling, when reality is folks, he already knows.Might as well explain to him that your angry or sad that you havent found "the right one" yet.Go ahead,if your afraid of hurting Gods feelings,it won't happen because he loves you and wants the best for you and also wants to hear your crys of fear and sadness.Just like many did in the Bible, when they spoke to God.Just like David did in the book of psalms (Psalms 5:1-3), when he flat out told God to listen to his cry for help or in (Psalm 6:6-7) when David once again describes his turmoil and how its affecting him.We must be able to learn to rely on God espcially with our hurt towards him. Talk to God,because as you may not see it already ,you and God are in a relationship!
When you decide to follow jesus Christ 'YOU" make that choice to follow him.But lets think of this for a moment, should we really follow Jesus?(Now I bet alot of you are looking at this statement saying "how could she say that").Well I don't believe we should follow Jesus ,I believe we should walk "beside" Jesus. When I picture following somebody,I picture being behind them.Lets think of some forms of relationships in this world and their concepts on this statement. When your at a wedding and two people are about to get married to each other,at the altar are they standing "next to each other" or "behind one another" when they are vowing to make a committment to each other. When you have a best friend and that friends feeling down and needs someone to be there(perhaps needs a shoulder to lean on), whats the famous saying ,is it "Ill stand beside you" or "I'll stand behind you". Or small example, when a parent is crossing the road with their child to protect them ,do they hold their hand and walk "beside them" or walk "behind them". Their are more examples, but you get the point. Yes, I take the whole following Jesus to whole 'nother level, a deeper level.I know that in (Luke 9:59) Jesus says to follow him and describes the cost of not following him.I have no problem following Jesus Christ but I'd much rather walk beside him and hold his hand.Maybe many are afraid to walk beside Jesus, but then again maybe thats the reason why "you haven't found the ONE" because the ONE you have been wanting and searching for has been there the whole time.
Women talk about needing a stronger deeper connection with men.Lets take a look at 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.)..written by Paul(one of Jesus disciples).Yes written by Paul but lets remember these words come from God.Now reading what love is to God,wouldn't you consider that a deep strong type of love.So then why do we strive so much for something we already have?Well did you ever sit back and seriously take a look at yourself instead.God knows what we look like ,and I'm not refering to the outside,I'm talking about our inside (Read Psalm 139,verse 1 states clearly " The Lord knows you").If your not fully willing to accept God into your heart, why even bother to deal with the question "When I going to find the One".And I'm not speaking about just saying you accept God,I mean fully and utterly willing to allow God to live within you, committ to him as the ONE!If your afraid to give your all and speak your all to the one who created you, honestly what good would you be to the "ONE" you so desire and strive for.
I attended a retreat in gainsville in april 2011 and approached the speaker ,bascially telling him how good of a lesson he gave and gave thanks for him allowing me and our group to open up about ourselves and to each other, then something happened that I needed to hear,God spoke through him to me.And he said to me "God is molding the "ONE" for you at the same time hes molding me for the man Im suppose to be with".Bascially not to be discouraged that God hasn't placed the man for me in my paths yet because in the time that we are not together ,God is able to work on the both of us even though we have not crossed paths just yet.And that opened up my eyes to alot of truth.Which is what God is and thats "Truth".After that point I knew I hadn't fully given my whole heart to God,and that wasn't fair at all, because in a relationship we have to be able to give that all, that we go around saying we want from another individual.I had or better yet have alot of issues emotionally that need to be given to God,but little by little I've been working ,as any other christian should, to work on the relationship we have with God by giving him my sadness,my hurt,my joy,my contentness,my sorrow, bascially MY EVERYTHING!and if your thinking it happens over night,it doesn't but thats why God remains standing there "beside us" every step of the way.The right "ONE" is out there but just like we might not be ready ,neither are they. And that may be the exact answer Jesus Christ gives you.Until you can with a full heart give God your all, then how can anything else be given.Kind of like saying "If you can't handle one relationship ,how can you handle two?"God will only give you what you can bear(1 corinthians 10:13--"..And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.")..so reading this truth that God gives us,if you dont have the "ONE" in your life right now, wouldn't you think God is trying to tell you maybe right now you can't handle having a relationship or being with the "ONE' that you dream of.Think of it this way who ever is meant for you, is on the other side praying for you as well, and probably faces the same question "When am I going to Find the One".
So I think its time to let go of that question and substitute it with another, perhaps "God what can I do to better my relationship with you?".Because the "ONE" has already been found for you when you come out of the water and give your life to Jesus Christ. Hey and I must admitt ,Im a very blessed woman to have such a great man.Lets truly face facts who else can truly deal with or except us for who we truly are.Not only that but its funny when I hear women say "I wish I could find a man whos willing to die for me",in a sense I guess, that may sound dramatic but once again lets look at Jesus Christ...He did die for us.Thats love! And instead of focusing on what we don't have right now ,we should focus on what we have right infront of us.What we have in our hearts and thats the true love Jesus Christ displayed on the cross for us.He is "THE ONE".
